Prevents water hammer and also reduces switch hunting. Designed for pressurised systems using the Whale quick connect systems. The surge damper should be mount in a vertical position immediately after the pump discharge side. Connection is via a Whale Quick Connect Stem. Unit is completely sealed requiring no servicing.
