gE AE312 GROUND DEPENDENT ANTENNA & ; BASE The AE312 range of Marine Antennas are ‘Ground Dependent’ in design and utilise Stainless Steel components to ensure long life and high performance in the marine environment. Being ‘Ground Plane Dependent’ the antenna base needs to be in contact with a metallic surface (Ground Plane), such as steel or aluminium of approximately 0.5m2 in area or greater. Available to suit 27MHz, VHF or AM/FM marine radios.
